چکیده
Abstract The network influence model is a for binary outcome variables that accounts dependencies between outcomes units are relationally tied. basic was previously extended to afford suite of new dependence assumptions and because its relation traditional Markov random field models it often referred as the auto logistic actor-attribute (ALAAM). We extend on current approaches fitting ALAAMs by presenting comprehensive Bayesian inference scheme supports testing across subsets data presence missing data. illustrate different aspects procedures through three empirical examples: masculinity attitudes in an all-male Australian school class, educational progression Swedish schools, unemployment among adults community sample Australia.

متن کاملCliques Role in Organizational Reputational Influence: A Social Network Analysis
Empirical support for the assumption that cliques are major determinants of reputational influence derives largely from the frequent finding that organizations which claimed that their cliques’ connections are influential had an increased likelihood of becoming influential themselves. It is suggested that the strong and consistent connection in cliques is at least partially responsible for the ...
متن کاملBayesian Analysis for the Social Sciences
In many social science settings, the data available for analysis span multiple groups. In these settings it is often plausible that any statistical model we might fit to the data will fit need to flexible, so as to capture variation across the groups, typically accomplished by letting some or all of the parameters vary across the groups. Examples include survey data gathered over a set of locat...
متن کاملQuantifying the Social Influence on Information Technology Adoption in Healthcare: A Hierarchical Bayesian Learning Model Analysis
Information technology adoption is a critical continuing challenge in healthcare. This paper presents a Bayesian learning model to quantify social learning effects on information technology adoption by physicians from a community health system. The model estimates confirm that both self-learning and social learning effects reduce the uncertainty around the perceived value of a new information t...
